Beverly  Fox

Bev is passionate about Silver Smithing! For 37 years she has created jewelry with silver and rare stones. Teaching the techniques of silver smithing to those who want to learn is very exciting & rewarding for her. After attending the Maine College of Art, she moved from Maine in 1999 to Florida where she now resides and creates daily. Her one-of-a-kind pieces are mostly influenced by the patterns, shapes and colors of the stones.
Since 2001, Bev has been teaching beginning and advanced Metals at the Cape Coral Arts Studio(a city run facility) in Cape Coral, Fl. Over the years it has given her great joey to see her students' skill levels improve. She continues to teach workshops in advanced metal techniques statewide. Bev also teaches private lessons in her personal studio. These classes are designed to meet the needs of the student and geared to their experience level. Bev's private classes are very popular.
In 2004, Bev established her own company, Sleeping Fox, Inc. She patented a jewelry clasp the same year. Since 2010, Bev has been a managing member at the Harbour View Gallery, also in Cape Coral. She is the current President of this gallery which features 35 fine artists' work. Striking a balance between art and business is both challenging and rewarding.
