Valerie  Lamott

After spending all day destroying things as a Quality Engineer, Valerie began metalsmithing classes in the evenings to focus more on creating things. In 2013 she moved to SC and transitioned into creating jewelry full time. Her work can be found in galleries in the south and midwest and at many art shows. Often nature/travel inspired, her work uses a variety of techniques-piercings, etching, casting, enameling, chasing, stone setting, etc. Valerie is most interested in the process of how things are made and enjoys the challenge of making a vision a reality.
